The morning after the chaos of voting that was Eurovision last night – Portugal really? As much as I was routing for Sweden, I just couldn’t stop looking at the first act – Imri from Israel.
Israel stunned Europe by announcing on Live TV to 200 million viewers, that this was they’re last ever to Eurovision for sometime, as the TV network that fund it is being shut down. As the hosts in Kyiv, Ukraine went live to Israel to find out how the jury had scored, the man, called Arthur, said: “This is IBA, Channel 1 calling from Jerusalem. For the past 44 years, Israel has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest, winning three times.”
“But tonight is our final night. Tonight IBA will shut down our broadcasting for ever.
“So on behalf IBA let me say thank you Europe for all the magical moments and beautiful years…and hopefully we shall meet again in the future.”
What better way for the last entry for Israel to be, but a hunk in a tank top dancing on stage. Now you can all agree this guy is an absolute wet dream put together into a pop star package, and sent for our enjoyment.
Coming from Israel’s version of The Voice, Imri ticks all the boxes for us.
Lets not forget here, Israel is saying goodbye to Eurovision, but Imri is not going anywhere, anytime soon.
As much as Eurovision 2017 failed to live up to 2016, come on people that was a very hard year to top, it still showcased some of Europe’s best and bizarre acts – the guerrilla?
Big shout out as well to the Australian streaker!
But this is a Manwatch edition, so if you are like me and cannot stop ogling the guns on this boy – Happy Sunday.
